  This might be considered a "high-end", quality restaurant here in Redding, but in a bigger, more sophisticated city Nello's would be just another overpriced, mediocre phsedo Italian restaurant.
  
  I went there with two of my sons, their wives and a friend of theirs for a birthday celebration. Our waiter was a millennial and acted as if he was doing us a favor by waiting on us. Whenever I thanked him for doing something that was a part of his job he would say, "No problem." I know it's not a problem, it's your job! A true professional waiter would say something like, "My pleasure" or just "you're welcome".
  
  I ordered a Bloody Mary for starters and it was just okay, a little thin and no depth to it. My entree came with sauteed shrimp, veal and scallops. The shrimp (3) were small for an entree, the breaded veal was thin, tough, and soggy while the scallops were cut in half and then covered in cheese. For over $30 (my total share of the bill was $75 including tip) I expected better.
  
  I have dined at many fine Italian restaurants throughout the country and, in my opinion, this is not one of them.
