  I'm a dad, I paid the tuition as well as the advanced $200.00 fee for the NCLEX exam. When it came to our son taking the exam, suddenly it was up to us to pay the fee and upon passing, we were to be refunded. The test came and went, our son passed and upon requesting the return fee from Lake, we were asked for proof upon proof upon receipt upon documentation upon license verification upon countless other paperwork in order to get the fee returned. Turns out, it's a stall tactic and we doubt that our duplicate test fee will ever be refunded. They were bought out and as anyone knows, when you buy a business you buy the assets as well as liabilities and the $200.00 test fee per student is a liability. We're into them for over 6 months trying to get the test fee returned and it looks like we're going for a class action suit. If you're interested, contact a trusted attorney to look it up, we'd be happy to have you on board. Our son is now employed as a nurse and loving it but we'll be damned if we're going to let a business screw students out of hard earned money.
