  I've been coming here for two years now. My 2 year old, 5 month, and myself come. My kids see Dr. Cary and she has been absolutely wonderful and so informative. She is so great with kids! The staff is always very friendly in the pediatric department. I've never waited longer than 20 minutes for anything. The only thing I don't like is that I had to go to the hospital for jaundice blood testing when my baby was brand new. I wish they had the capability to do that in office. I myself usually see nurse practitioners. I do agree with other reviewers that doctors come and go, but the three I have seen have been great! I have no complaints there. I also agree that it can take a very long time to get an appointment with a specialist. There just isn't enough specialists in Redding, apparently. To have my daughter seen by a specialist for her facial nerves, we would've had to drive down to Oxnard! That's a very far drive. This place would be rated 5 stars if they had more specialists and the capability to do more labs in office. Otherwise, it's a great place and the staff are wonderful.

  The ladies working at the front desk were super nice and compassionate for my reason to be seen in the urgent care. They were very professional and non judgmental. The triage RN was also nice wasted no time in Getting me to the back and ready to be seen. The doctor, . Dr Tyson Adams was the nicest ,caring, sympathetic Dr I've ever came in contact with. He himself made me feel comfortable and I could trust him with my medical needs. Dr. Adams not only took great care of me but he also got me set up on the path amd follow-ups I need for my condition. I want to say thank you again to everyone over at Shasta community urgent care.
